Mother Teresa explains to us how much God loves us

Mother Teresa was one of the most talented souls in recent history, she is one who pierced the darkness of this life to discover the unfathomable love God has for us.
Her life was a visible manifestation of the love of God for humanity, and she also left us a profound reflection that should be read over and over again on a daily basis.
On March 25, 1993, Mother Theresa wrote a letter to her “spiritual family”, asking the question, “Why does Jesus say ‘I Thirst’ as he was on the cross? What does it mean? Something so hard to explain in words.”
Mother Teresa also, went further to reply the question saying, “He thirsts for you. Because ,He loves you always, even when you don’t feel worthy. When you don’t feel accepted by others, even by yourself sometimes and He is the one who always accepts you.
Mother Teresa continues and said, “The devil may try every thing possible to use the hurts of life, and sometimes our own mistakes to make you feel it is impossible that Jesus really loves you, is really cleaving to you. This is always a danger for all of us. Sadly, because it is totally opposite of what Jesus is really wanting and waiting to tell you.
Not only that He loves you, but even more, He also longs for you. He misses you whenever you don’t come close.”
Father Joseph Langford who was a co-founder of Mother Teresa’s priests community got inspired by these words, and wrote his own reflection ( which most people often mistakenly attribute it to Mother Teresa) which takes the viewpoint of God and how he thirsts for us.
Father Joseph’s reflection is a profound reflection, one that expands more on Mother Teresa’s message and goes deeper.
Here are a some excerpts that should be read slowly and carefully, allowing God to speak to your soul.
It is true. I am always at the door of your heart, day and night. Even when you are not listening, even when you have a doubt it could be Me, I always there. I wait on, even for the smallest sign of your response, even the least whispered invitation which will allow Me to enter.
I already know what is in your heart.
I already know your loneliness and all your hurts, both the rejections, the judgments, the humiliations, I carried all of them before you. And I carried it all for you, so you can share My strength and victory. I know specifically, your need for love how you are thirsting to be loved and cherished. But how frequently have you thirsted in vain, by selfishly seeking that love, striving to fill the emptiness inside you with passing pleasures.
Even with the greater emptiness of sin. So, what do you thirst for? Do you thirst for love? According to (Jn. 7: 37) Jesus said, “Come to Me all you who thirst …”. I will satisfy you and fill you.
So, do you thirst to be cherished? Cause I cherish you more than you can imagine to the point of dying on a cross for you.
Truly, I Thirst for You. And that is the only way to even begin to describe My love for you. I THIRST FOR YOU. As for Me, there is no one who is more important in the entire world than you. Cause, I THIRST FOR YOU. Open up to Me, come to Me, thirst for Me, give me your life – and I will show you how important you are to My Heart.
Whenever you open the door of your heart, whenever you come close enough to me, you will hear Me say to you again and again, not in ordinary human words but in spirit. “Not minding what you have done, I love you for your own sake. So come to Me with your misery and your sins, even with your troubles and needs, and with all your longing to be loved.
I still stand at the door of your heart and knock. Telling you to open to Me, for I THIRST FOR YOU …
